As I said in my last post, this week is going to be a busy week for me. So I apologize once again if I skip a chance to post here and there. I also figured that since last week's posts only included a few songs, I'll just combine the songs from this week and last week into one big playlist at the end. Sound good?
Also, I thought of a little something new recently. Why not link a few posts together in a kind of "themed" post series? Sounds great to me! So why not start off with a nice and simple theme eh? Children's songs!

I'm going to start off with a favorite of mine from the great country of France!

Now, as with most children's songs, the history of this song is somewhat obscured. It is thought to have originated in France sometime during the eighteenth century, though the author is unknown. It is known, however, that the earliest recording of it was made by a certain Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville in April of 1860, over one hundred and fifty years ago!
