Cue the Lights (American Idol 4/4)

Alright, it's time for me to reveal the last American Idol artist I'll be sharing with you guys! Thanks goes once again to my wonderful girlfriend for her superb knowledge of the show. :P

David won the seventh season of American Idol in 2008, the year before Kris Allen's win. He is one of the few real rockers that has come out of the show. Like his fellow winners, he too loved music as he was growing up, forming a band with a friend while in high school and writing his first song at fifteen. Since Idol, he has release two albums, both of which have reached the top forty in several countries.

Now I have to admit, I had to ask my girlfriend about the next two American Idol artists that I'm sharing with you, because she happens to know much, much more about the show than me. So thanks hun! ;P

So, let's just go ahead and get started with this good ole Arkansas boy!

As the winner of the eighth season of Idol in 2009, Kris Allen has always loved music. He began playing the viola in elementary school and went on to play the instrument in his high school orchestra. And then he won a spot in the Arkansas all-state orchestra! If that isn't enough, he also taught himself how to play guitar and can even play piano! After his big break on Idol, Kris has gone on to make two studio albums, one of which is to be released this year.
