Keep Your Head High!

I just thought of a perfect song to share with you guys! I actually saw this on the Filipino music channel myx a few years back when I went to visit some family in the Philippines. Definitely a great channel, just saying!

Now I love this song for two reasons. One is because it's Filipino and I have a Filipino ancestry that I like to connect to. Two is because the song itself tells a tale of the fortitude of the Filipino people. It literally tells how strong, diligent, and patient they are. The lyrics "pero laging taas noo" even mean (loosely translated) to always keep your head up. I just love the all around pride in being a Filipino in this song! (:
