We All "Need" Some Creativity

Now for a lesson in true creativity with none other than OK Go!

Needing/Getting (http://youtu.be/MejbOFk7H6c)

It's hard to escape the fact that this is obviously an advertising scheme by Chevy for their new model, the Sonic, but hey, they're playing music with a car! What can be better than that??

That aside, one must try to comprehend the immensity of the project. They used hundreds, yes hundreds of guitars, barrels, piping, and etc. to make this project happen. Not to mention the two to three weeks worth of time spent setting up and tuning the objects in order to match the exact notes of the song. Studio version here: (http://youtu.be/9WM4v8m2zUQ)

So, guys of OK Go, I applaud you and your amazing creativity!

Magical Dubstep?

I've got something interesting here for you today. Well, I think so at least!

Runnin' by Cutline ft. Belle Humble (http://youtu.be/xYc9orO98fE)

Now, being a somewhat unheard of song and band, it was kinda hard to find very much info on them. But here's some stuff that I was able to find!

Turns out Cutline is a group that was formed in 2010 by a couple of childhood friends, Dan Wilberforce and Jeryl Wilton, in Bristol, England. Since their start, they've been dropping their hot dubstep beats to an ever growing fanbase. In this particular venture, they brought in another British gal, Belle Humble, to provide some killer vocals, if I do say so myself. ;-P

But it's the video that gets me. It brings about an "OMG" moment when the nice, innocent victimized Little Red Riding Hood all of the sudden goes BANG!! Strange beastmode moment there I'd say.

Do I Know You?

I'm afraid I don't know you. But don't worry, after this song is done I will. Not to mention we'll all be expert body painters!

Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye (http://youtu.be/8UVNT4wvIGY)

Now first off, I'm pretty sure you're like me and are wondering "how in God's sake am I supposed to pronounce that name!?" Here's your answer: "Gotye" is derived and pronounced the same way as the French "Gautier" (Gaw-tee-ay or Got-yay). There, not so bad huh?

This Belgian born Australian released this big hit on his third studio album, Making Mirrors, in July of 2011 and it soon reached #1 in several European countries as well as Australia.

I'm Not Sure I Have an Answer to That

What is love? You could spend a lifetime trying to answer that one question.
Or you could just jam to the song that asks it for you! (:

What is Love by Haddaway (http://youtu.be/c1LG5E55II8)

I always get pulled to this classic song from the 90s. It has that nice flavor of nostalgia to it that I love. Not to mention the nice eurodance beat!

The hit What is Love was released by the Trinidadian-German singer Haddaway in May of 1993 and quickly topped the charts in thirteen countries. With good reason, don't you think?

I say we need a little bit of technopop for lunch!

Parlez-vous Freezepop? by Freezepop (http://youtu.be/kqZLbXjkRbQ)

Freezepop is an electropop/synthpop band based in Boston and they have contributed quite a few songs to certain +Harmonix Music Systems titles such as Rock Band and Guitar Hero. I love playing those by the way. ;P
